Trip to Hong Kong & Penang was great! We had so much fun getting to know the Lau side of the family.

Cadence was amazing on the trip – except she was jet lagged for all of Hong Kong. Often she slept from 2 pm – 2 am which made for an exhausting time for everyone.

Cadence has been responding to things she doesn’t like with a raspberry. Can’t help but agree that’s often a response that feels right.

for about a year, Cadence has used the toilet randomly. We’re in Cleveland  for 17 days so I thought, we’re potty training!

First try was Thursday, May 7th. She peed on the couch & hid from grandpa Mike so she wouldn’t have to say sorry. Then she peed in her panties & we went out. So that was it for the day.

She redeemed herself as since May 8th she’s peed on the toilet with no accidents! She pooped in her pants on Saturday. I’m hoping for continued success on the pee front and advancement on the poop front (or back).
