First kiss!
Cadence: can I tell you a secret?

C: Anthony kissed me!

Yes, it was on the lips.
she said maybe someday they’ll fall in love.
I asked her what about Jon & she said she always wanted 2 boyfriends.
she told Adam she would always be his boosens.
Anthony & she have been playing a lot – they play a lot of dinosaurs together (Cadence is the baby, Anthony the father.) & have become best friends. We’ve hung out w them the past couple of days.

Cadence has stopped napping.
ever since Cleveland in May she’s gotten much braver (mee mee got her climbing at the playgrounds) & more independent (requires less snuggle time).
and she’s a faster runner!

Adam pointed out that Cadence asks people to repeat themselves so much that she shortened “what did you say?” To “say?”
Jane and I hope that her hearing problem is related to her cold and nothing long term.

Pretty
for about a month now, I’ve been trying to give Cadence compliments that are unrelated to her appearance. This was in reaction to her saying she was the prettiest all the time. At first, she was mad that I wasn’t saying she was pretty or cute. Then this morning she and steph were playing dolls. Steph asked if she was pretty and Cadence told her she’s other things besides pretty. I’m pretty sure I’m winning at this motherhood thing.
