cadence has had increased anxieties recently. She started being afraid of snakes (asking a lot of questions about poisonous snakes and their existence in MA, hibernating snakes, etc.), the dark, getting shots, and me leaving her. Since mid-December (after my girls trip, which may be related) she would freak out when I dropped her at school. Her fears alleviating somewhat after I staying at school with her for a bit. Now she’s ok if I “run errands” since that’s shorter than me going to work (it’s not). Hopefully she’ll regain her confidence soon.

cadence has become so mature & reasonable! I can definitely reason with her in a way I couldn’t when she was 3. For example, she’s been petrified of the doc bc of shots. I told her she had to go and she calmly told me she’d cry like a cry baby and that she’d poop in the shot. I’m happy she didn’t start freaking out about it. She also remembers that Adam ripped the bandaid off last year and told him not to this year.
