🙁

Cadence told me she’s embarrassed to be wearing toddler shoes. I told her she doesn’t have to tell people but she said she tells everyone.

She also told me people don’t like to play with her. She asks everyone & they say no. 🙁🙁🙁

Sounding out

Wow, can’t believe cadences progress in reading and writing. She mostly knew her letters and numbers before school started and is now able to write them. She still gets confused on a couple of letters and numbers but knows them well, for the most part.

Here is a sentence she said she sounded out! On grandma, she said Lesley taught her how to spell family names.

Blakey crawling

Blake has been able to crawl across the living room and now goes from room to room unaccompanied. I think Cadence would stick to where we were but Blake is into exploring. He’d even rather play than have me hold him.

So far, he kind of hobbles on one leg and doesn’t get on both knees to crawl. He’s already quite fast. Blake crawling

Blakey 7 months

He’s definitely scooting! He hasn’t quite figured out how to use his legs but can move pretty fast. He loves cadence’s bins and can be found digging through them.

He likes carbs (potatoes, breads), eggs, avocados, smoothies/yogurts. He eats and enjoys more people food than Cadence did & is less obsessed with breast milk.

He loves kisses (sometimes lays a slobbery one on me), playing with bags and paper. Started drinking water and enjoys it out of a deli container.

So proud of my girl

Cadence is such a sweet girl. She has great empathy and always looks out for other people. She’s creative. San got her writing stories and she’s really taken to that. her art skills have grown immensely. She’s an inventor. Nicole and I were talking about how Matt is a vampire and Cadence decided that Nicole should do a lie detector test. And she created one for San. She used her colon pillow to make sure she was comfortable and could tell the truth.
