Your grandfather was such a great cook. We had sooo many people at that party and many more that found out about it that weren’t invited. Maybe Cadence’s Gong-Gong can throw a party at Christmas time, but how many people would go all the way to Boston for the party. I think you should celebrate the full moon party in Cleveland 🙂
And Celeste, that is when the baby gets her first haircut and we use a hard boiled egg to pick up the cuttings. The dyed red eggs are given to friends at the full moon party.
Just had lunch with your Pau Pau. I thought I remembered you had 2 full moon parties. And she confirmed that. We had one for our Caucasian friends for lunch and then dinner for our Asian friends. We just couldn’t fit everyone together in the restaurant at one time. Your Gong Gong made soooo much food,that the guests also had doggie bags.
